It’s Not That Bad

It's not that bad
To be called a bad girl
With a heart so hard
But girl don't be sad.

It's not that bad
To be called a lad
For the hairs on your face
For bad is their gaze.

It's not that bad
You are an emotional fool
You've got a heart
That doesn't hurt.

It's not that bad
To have the past you had
You've got a future ahead
Pure than their heart and head.

It's not that bad
To be called a bad girl
Well done my girl;
Good girls seldom
Make history.
It's not that bad
When you don't fit in
Let them keep yelling
Let them keep telling
All those about you
All jobless, not you
You've got a dream
Nothing to do with their game
No time to listen, to be sad
It's not that bad.

It's not that bad
To be called a bad girl
To not have a rhyme
In your own poem
It's the meaning
That makes a change
Not the good name
That they infringe.

Girl, don't be so hard
It's not that bad
Let them try hard
To make you feel sad
It's not that bad
To be called a bad girl

Good girls seldom make history!

    It’s Not That Bad

    To Not Fit

    Into What

    Others Believe

    Is Good No Different

    Than Wild Flowers They

    Always Come Back And Rule

    Even When

    Folks

    Call

    Them

    Weeds

    From Very
    Tiny Ragged And Green

The Key is They Are Still Green
Be The Wild Flower Fruition Never Lose

Colors Different Who Become THeir Dreams..:)

  2. To not have a rhyme in your own poem..is so true and relatable. It’s the meaning that makes sense. The last line is the essence of the poem. A beautiful and meaningful poem👌👌👌

  3. This seems like exactly what I needed to hear!🥺

  4. Wow Aleesha! This was most certainly inspiring for me. Thanks for reminding me that I am in my own lane and it doesn’t matter if I don’t fit in.

Have a blessed Sunday, my dear friend ❤
