When you think you need other’s support to keep going what should you do?

When You Seek For Validation

I don’t know if I’ll pass the test. Everyone’s teasing me. No one tries to help me out. May be they don’t like me. I have lost all confidence and courage. I think of quitting this. I feel horrible, desparate and lonely.

My friend wrote to me this message last day. She’s really sad that no one supports her and upset that people never try to understand. What would you do if people never support you?

Your parents, your professors, your friends and colleagues or the world are not here to support your dream. It’s not their job. They are not living to cheer you on, to assist you and help you out with your challanges. They have different visions and thoughts. This is your dream. This is your life, not theirs.

Most of them whom you are seeking support from, deny the same and try to drag you down. It’s because they’re always at the same place, exactly where they used to be. They’re aren’t growing up like you. There’s something about you that’s different, which honestly they are afraid of. You’re not the same person they used to know. They can’t understand you.

If everyone around you thinks you are crazy, it’s not your responsibility to make them realise that you are normal and sane. Your only purpose is to fulfill your desires – your heart’s true dreams.

More you go after your dreams, there are more people to judge you, stop you and block your path. Don’t let their opinions crush you down; and never wait for their approval to push you forward. Push yourself and you’ll reach your destination.

These challenges you are going through will teach you to help others who face similar obstacles in future. You may even turn out to be an inspiration for many. But never expect others around to do the same for you, because it’s your life.

Do it for yourself.

It’s not being selfish; it’s being mature.

Own your dreams. Make them real. Live them.
