Advent Thoughts #3

What would you do when there’s no way ahead ?

Pave Your Path

Covid19 has put forward painful hurdles for each one of us. Bereavement, isolation, loss of income and fear are triggering our peace of mind. Many people may be facing increased levels of alcohol and drug use, insomnia, and anxiety.

Sometimes horrible things come our way. Really, bad things happen. If you’re having one of those unclear, doubtful or dark days, it’s okay. When problems and challenges haunt you, it feels like something dangerous or threatening is constantly behind your journey.

When bad things happen what are you going to do? Are you going to give up ? Are you preparing to run from it ? Are you finding excuses ? When you breakdown, balance yourself, stand still for a moment, breath, pursue courage and breakthrough the dilemma, the restrictions and everything that holds you back. Don’t run away from it. Own it. Don’t find excuses. Find the reasons why you should win. Don’t give up. Discover the opportunities behind the challenges and embrace them.

You’ve got to win this war within yourself. Keep fighting and never quit. When things get tough, understand that this won’t last forever. Fight through the pain and come out stronger.

May be you are suffering more than what you could bear. Learn to deepen your roots. God wants us to reach that perfection. It will take time.

No matter what you’re up to, no matter what is hurting you, keep going. Take the steps forward.

Grow up.

Remember not to stop. Never surrender your spirit. When you want to stop, take that first step and start walking.

Live the life and say ” Yes, I did it”.

You’re growing through what you are going through.

When you have got no path ahead, Pave your own.

I Believe You.

With Love,

Aleesha Thomas
